Crocosmia

Crocosmia × crocosmiiflora

flower

A stunning summer-flowering perennial with arching sprays of fiery orange, red, or golden flowers that emerge from sword-like green or bronze foliage. The graceful flowers bloom in succession along the stem, and the dried seed pods remain attractive into winter. This hybrid is vigorous, low-maintenance, and excellent for cutting and adding architectural interest to borders.

Light
Full sun to partial shade; needs 6+ hours of sun daily for optimal flowering. More shade tolerance in warmer zones
