Kerria japonica

shrub

A graceful deciduous shrub with slender, bright green stems and cheerful golden-yellow flowers that bloom in spring and often rebloom in fall. Growing 4–6 feet tall and spreading via underground runners, it brightens shaded areas and creates a delicate, airy texture. The double-flowered form 'Pleniflora' offers pompom-like blooms.
