Lilium martagon, also known as the turk's cap lily, produces nodding turban-shaped flowers in shades of pink, purple, or white with reflexed petals and spotted throats. This shade-tolerant lily grows 4–6 feet tall and flowers in mid-summer, making it ideal for woodland gardens. It is long-lived and improves with age, naturalizing well in suitable growing conditions.
