Thermopsis

Thermopsis montana

outdoor

A stunning perennial shrub native to mountain regions of the western United States, bearing bright yellow pea-like flowers in dense upright spikes during late spring and early summer. With its legume-fixed nitrogen ability and deep root system, it is exceptionally drought-tolerant and requires minimal care once established. The architectural form and cheerful blooms make it an excellent choice for sunny borders, banks, and naturalized areas.
