Torenia fournieri

flower

Torenia, also called wishbone flower, is a delicate annual with snapdragon-like blooms in shades of purple, pink, white, and blue, often with contrasting throat markings. The plant grows 8–12 inches tall and spreads 12–18 inches, thriving in partial shade to shade where other annuals struggle. It blooms prolifically from summer through fall and is ideal for containers, hanging baskets, and shaded borders.
