A robust, clump-forming perennial with striking blue-purple flowers (sometimes pink or white) blooming from late spring through summer. Reaching 45–60 cm tall, it is extremely hardy, drought-tolerant, and low-maintenance. Excellent for borders and meadow gardens, it attracts pollinators and tolerates poor soil.
