How to Diagnose
Check whether the drop started after a change in environment — a move, a cold draught, or a change in watering. Feel the soil to rule out over or underwatering. Inspect roots if the plant is potted.
Treatment
Stabilise the plant's environment — keep it away from vents and cold windows. Adjust watering to match the season. If recently repotted, give the plant 2–4 weeks to recover without extra fertiliser. Remove dropped leaves promptly to prevent mould.
Prevention
Avoid moving plants unnecessarily. Maintain consistent temperature (above 15°C) and humidity. Water on a regular schedule and check soil moisture before each watering.
